About

I am a photographer and educator based in Hampshire, on the south coast of the United Kingdom with some 30 years experience combining photographic assignments with lecturing in Media and the Visual Arts.

In addition to undertaking a range of professional photographic assignments for corporate and individual clients, I have been engaged by a number of colleges, education centres and other learning establishments in both the public and private sectors, working primarily with post 16 and adult learners. I have accumulated an extensive knowledge of photographic techniques and technologies along with additional specialist skills in new media such as video/moving image production, desk top publishing, graphics and design for the web.

As a photographer I believe it is extremely important to sustain personal development, to continually extend my knowledge and refine my skills. I have always maintained a commitment to independent creative practice through self directed projects, a number of which have been exhibited in galleries across the UK.

As a fully qualified teacher I am highly motivated to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for the visual arts and I fully subscribe to the ethos of lifelong learning.”
